Holistic Healer
The word "holistic" is from the root word "holos", the Greek word meaning "whole". This term emphasizes the idea of viewing systems, in this case, the human system of the mind (thought), body (vessel) and soul (spirit). We learn to treat ourselves as complete entities rather than a collection of parts, as we were created by God.
Holistic living is defined as treating and caring for the parts of a whole in harmony because they are in intimate connection. Treating the mind by connecting with God through Bible study and prayer. Healing the body with healthy living. Soothing the soul, by living holy and giving our all to God. This also describes The Holy Trinity - our Father God, His son Jesus Christ and our advocate the Holy Spirit. Holistic health and holy holistic refer to divinely caring for ourselves in harmony with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
God intended for us to think this way of ourselves and combine the mind, body and soul to work together, heal and be holy transformed.
What we didn't know in the past, and we now know, is that eating healthy food, prepared correctly, adding herbs, spices, roots, and natural supplements, can help improve our physical health and even our mental health. Do you not know that your body is a temple (residing place) of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own; for you were bought at a price. So, glorify (honor and praise) God with your bodies. 1 Corinthians 6: 19, 20 ~ English Standard Version
